Angry Bird Cake Toppers

An order for some angry birds cake toppers complete with slingshot and one tower. I've never played the game but thanks to my kids I know of it. These were a lot of fun to make.

Another Bridal Shower Cake

I love it when one cake inspires another. A lady that saw my last bridal shower cake with the engagement ring and cakes designed to look like gift boxes asked me to do something similar for her. The only differences were that she wanted to put the real engagement ring in the ring box later (not in the photo) and she wanted a pair of high heel shoes. Here is the result.

Flower Cookies

I did these cookies for the kids at my church. I saw a tutorial for them on line and had to try them. I still need more work on the details but overall not bad for a first try I think.

Bridal Shower Cake

A lady booked me to do her wedding cake in August and this week I did her bridal shower cake. It is 2 gift boxes and an engagement ring in box as well. I loved the royal blue of the fondant, it set off so nicely against the white ribbon.

A Pair of 50th Anniversary Cakes

I had two requests for 50th Anniversary Cakes this weekend, and I already had a bridal shower cake to do (stay tuned for that one). I told both Anniversary clients I could only do their cakes if I did the same basic idea for both. This is what I came up with.
